Chapter 17

When Dallas hung up laughing I sat looking at him with worry. He winked at me and chuckled when I blushed. I felt bad that he was here and not at home.

"Dallas am I keeping you from important stuff?",I said looking up from my food.

"no sweetheart we moved our entire gang here. It is safer and no one from there knows where we went. I sold both our homes and cleaned out all our bank accounts we are officially here for good",he said eating his food.

"I'm sorry if...", was all I got out before he growled.

"sweetheart none of that I told you...you have nothing to be sorry about. I'm here cause I love you and I need you in my life forever",he said scooting closer to me.

"so tell me about your bleeding when you first got here",he said pushing food towards me.

"I was upset about you and I couldn't keep anything down long story short I was a bit dehydrated and started to bleed and had to go to the hospital. I drove there and texted Kansas from my cell phone without putting in the code to block my number. He showed up and refused to leave. I'm sorry I just... I'm sorry Dallas please don't be mad", she whimpered.

I picked her up and pulled her into my lap. I kissed her head and fed her a little more.

"I'm full Dallas", she said laying her head on my shoulder. A yawn left her mouth and she apologized for being rude. I kissed her head and continued eating.

"Dallas she fell asleep", Kansas said softly as he smiled at my wife. She looked so f*****g cute in my lap sleeping.

"I'll take her to bed once I'm done eating",I said kissing her head.

"I can take her if you want", he offered.

"no I need her close I can't stand being away from her anymore",I stated and ate more. Both chuckled softly and ate with me.

"so the doctor said she is still underweight. What did they say about labor options?", Kansas asked looking up from his plate.

"what do you mean labor options? Is she gonna be okay to give birth?",Dakota said dropping his fork.

"she said Tara is tiny and a c section would be the best cause labor will be to much on her small body",I answered then looked down at my wife. She is awfully tiny and her giving birth scares me I could lose her.

"yeah Tara seemed upset about it but I want her and my babies safe", I said rubbing her belly. I felt a light kick and got happy. I finished my food and got up carrying my wife to bed. I laid her down and went to clean up our mess. I opened the bedroom beside ours and tears filled my eyes at the nursery. It needed to be painted and I was going to tell my brothers we were gonna do it for her. I hurry back to them and smile.

"guys she has a nursery that needs to be painted we are doing it. I also think we should add more bedrooms to this house",I said looking up contractors. After finding one I decided to make our house a ten bedroom instead of four bedrooms. I also want more bathrooms cause the kids would grow up and not want to share.

After hours of talking and calling contractors I set it all up and go check on Tara. She is curled on her side shivering.

I cover her up and lay beside her. She whimpers my name in her sleep and scoots closer to me.

"sweetheart wake up I need to talk to you",I say in her ear. She moans and covers her head with the blanket. I rub her belly and pull off the blanket making her moan my name.

"Dallas I'm cold", she whines.

"sweetheart I need to talk with you about adding more bedrooms to our house here. I already called a contractor they start tomorrow. What do you want for dinner?",I ask rubbing her belly more.

"I'm hungry for pizza",she says reaching for me.

Chuckling I pick her up and she snuggles into my body. I kiss her head and walk out to the kitchen and place her in the chair beside Kansas. She yawns and puts her head on his shoulder. I chuckle as he looks at me worried.

"can you get my pills Dallas I'm to tried to move",she says yawning.

"I got them sweetheart sit up and take them",I say sitting beside her and handing them to her. She nods her thanks before using his shoulder again.

"I'm sorry Kansas I'm just so tired",she says closing her eyes and leaning against him. He kisses her head and smiles at her belly.

"Its fine sweetheart I just don't want Dallas kicking my ass cause your laying on me",he mumbled . He took out his phone and played a game while staying still so Tara could lean on him. I kissed her head as I passed to get stuff from the pantry.

"Tara you awake sweetheart?",Dakota said sitting down. She was out and Kansas gently scooped her up and took her to the couch. He laid her gently on it and sat beside it so she wouldn't fall off. I smiled as he rubbed her small belly.

"hi my niece and nephew I'm uncle Kansas and I'm the cooler uncle",he said earning a growl from Dakota.

"f**k you d**k", Dakota said flicking him off. I chuckled as each cussed at each other. I ended it when Tara whimpered in her sleep. Kansas picked up her feet and massaged them. She opened her eyes and smiled shyly.

"Kansas you don't have to do that I'm fine",she mumbled looking guilty.

"well to bad just lay back and enjoy sweetheart",he said rubbing her feet and calves.

"thank you so much",she said closing her eyes and falling back to sleep.

After I finished the food I plated it and woke up my wife.

I smiled as I sat her at the table and served her dinner. I was taking care of her and I loved every minute of it.
