Fifteenth Chapter
As if it was swallowed up by the Earth
Gaia was wearing her prettiest dress. It was red with small, white roses. As she was getting ready, Alessandro arrived and began chatting with Ercole and Elio in the kitchen. After many preparations, the night of Emma's fifteenth birthday finally came.
Libero had been out with his own friends. He could not just hang out with the kids. It had been a very odd summer for him. Aunt Ida urged them to be careful, to drink responsibly and be back on time.
The party had already started when they arrived.
