I sat on the bench at the park, entertaining myself with the activities that went on within. Apart from myself, there were a few adult couples, some parents with their kids, and finally some teens. Some kids ran about, screaming excitedly and playing with kites. Some played fetch with their dogs. Some of the couples sat on benches close to mine, whispering what I assumed to be romantic words between each other. Although I kind of felt left out, I didn't feel bad one bit. What transpired earlier in the day was more than enough satisfaction for me.
