Jay’s POV
Stupid Racheal I can’t believe that she made me dress up like a stupid girl, well female dog. How did I even let her talk me into this?
'She promised to treat us for dinner tonight' my wolf said sarcastically.
Ohh yeah.
We were walking around town when Racheal decided to go buy ice cream. Suddenly this girl bumped into us. I was about to growl at her but this mouth-watering scent hit me. It smelled like coconuts. My wolf was all jumpy and kept saying mate and mate over again. I excitedly turned my head only to see this beautiful girl. Her odd turquoise eyes matched perfectly with her light brown almost blonde hair.
She kept talking to Racheal but not once did she look at me. I was beginning to get inpatient so I went and nudged her leg. Her turquoise eyes locked with my golden ones.
"I see we have a friend here." she said bending down to pet my black and white fur. I moved closer to her and licked her cheek. My tongue moved gracefully on her cheek.
"Yeah this is Jay. My wolf dog." Rachel said in an excited tone.
"Wait isn't it a girl." She asked and I growled in annoyance but she just laughed. "Sorry pal but it’s just the way you’re dressed."
Wow the first time I meet my mate and she already thinks that I’m a cross-dresser.
‘Hey Racheal,' I said through mind link.
'Yeah loser' She replied giggling.
'This girl is my mate' I said excitedly yet proud.
She didn't say anything, she just kept glancing at my mate then me.
My mate stood back up only to see Racheal staring at her with huge eyes. She almost looked happy. Her head tilted back to me and I swear you could see happiness dancing in her eyes.
'Mate Mate Mate' my wolf kept singing in my head.
"Scarlett when are we going to get ice cream." I was snapped out of my Trance and I turned my head to a little boy no older than 5.
"Oh yeah sorry I was so caught up in the moment." She glanced down at me and looked back up nervously.
"Dude we were about to go get ice cream too. Want to join us." Asked Racheal.
'Hmmm I guess she can be useful at times' I said and my wolf growled in agreement.
"Sure, that way I won’t be alone with these crazies." she said glancing back at her two brothers who were smiling like Cheshire Cats.
We all entered the ice cream store and I tried to stay as close as possible to her.
Once we were all done ordering, we all went to go eat the ice cream outside (well not me cause dogs can't eat that.)
"So where are you going this afternoon." Racheal asked.
"I'm going to 'Chucky Cheese, it’s my friend’s party." she said blushing with embarrassment.
Her brothers were in the table beside us eating happily.
"Would you like to go?" She asked.
Racheal looked at me and I nodded my big wolfy head. "Okay what time." Racheal asked.
“Umm does five sound alright to you and I’ll text you the location." She asked.
"Yeah" Racheal replied, "but I might bring my brother, is that alright to you?"
"What, yeah totally. Can’t wait to meet him" these words made my heart flutter.
After we were done eating they said their goodbyes and left.
'I can't believe that she's your mate' Rachael said excitedly.
'Yeah I know, come on let's hurry up so I get to go see her.' I said happily.
We both left walking to the hotel to get ready for my mate.
