I still couldn't believe the boss is Hunter's uncle, which means Hunter might take over the g**g since he's one of our best fighters.
Grace's words from this morning lingered in my mind. If I stayed a minute longer, they would have figured out I had a crush on her.
"When are you going to ask her out?" Victor whispers as Trish chats with Hunter. Their friendship seems to be growing stronger; it's been a while since Hunter smiled so much or had a female friend.
"When are you going to ask Grace out?" I hiss back.
"Touche, but unlike you, Trish isn't dating anyone."
"I'm just waiting for the right time, okay?"
