Hunter's POV: "Grandma, I'm home," I announce as I lock the door behind me. It's 10:30 PM, so I don’t expect her to be sleeping at 62. "I'm upstairs," she replies, and I head to her room. I find her sitting on her bed, holding a framed picture of my parents—my mom showing about five months pregnant while my dad stands behind her with his arms around her. I inherited her light brown hair and gray eyes. "They were so in love, but then she vanished," Grandma sighs. My mom left when I was three, leaving my dad and me to fend for ourselves.
