The sunset from the backyard was spectacular as the pink hues mixed with the dark purple of the midnight sky as Clara sat on her rooftop balcony on the summer warm evening. Sometimes New York could be blistering in summer and while she had all the luxuries anyone could dream of, sometimes a girl just wanted to be outside on a warm evening watching the sunset, drinking her red wine, and enjoying the companionship of her dogs.
