I stood for a few more moments staring at Lily's body.
I heard running footsteps and didn't turn around as someone let out a whistle.
"You showed her," Conner said as he stood in front of me bending down.
Owen and Evan accompanied Conner and I watched as Owen bent down and lifted Lily's arm.
"Shes dead?" Evan asked as he watched his twin let go of Lily's arm, letting it slump to the ground.
"Well, we better make sure," Conner mumbled as he pulled out a knife from his back pocket and I turned away.
"I need to find my brother," I said and didn't wait for an answer as I began rushing back.
I had to see that Elina and the baby were safe.
I used my advanced hearing to direct myself to Elina and once I saw Tate crouching close by I slowed down as everyone remained silen
