I wasn't the least bit surprised when Lily hurled a fireball at me.
It was a classic move from her.
That's why I had no trouble in raising my hand and distinguishing the flame. I heard a jumpy teenager from behind Eddie point towards me and ramble in awe.
Despite Lily's usual tactics, I was more worried this time round. I didn't want to make any sharp sudden movements that would harm my baby.
Just as if Lily was reading my thoughts, her gaze traveled down to my obvious round, pregnant belly and her smile wickened.
"Oh my," she whispered, "-one more thing to kill."
Immediately my eyes turned into slits and I began to growl.
Not only me, but Tate had suddenly transformed into something deadly as his eyes glowed and his teeth extended.
He took incredibly large steps
