Chapter 3Trevor parked his sedan in a visitor spot of the condo complex where Skylar lived and got out. He was late. Already an hour and thirty-five minutes late. And he should probably have called to make sure Skylar would even open the door. It seemed safer just to drive over and take his chances. Squinting at the addresses on the buildings (he really should go to the eye doctor) he spotted the one for Skylar and walked down the pebbled path to unit 50. It had been a long, horrendous day.
