"She's already out of control." Jin hissed under his breath as he cast aside the martini and tossed his card to the bartender. "I'll pay for her drinks and mine, I'll get the card in the morning."
The bartender tensed at this as he watched Jin get up from the stool and reach down to Aria's hand, pulling her up from the counter and onto her barely able feet.
"I could have called her-."
"-Ex-husband? yeah, no sh*t." Jin rolled his eyes as the bartender begins to sweat, worried that he might never see Aria again once Jin took her out.
There was one thing Jin hated the most... amongst many of course, but he hated soft spotted people and especially drunks who act only on influence.
He despised them in the bottom of his heart for a reason no one would blame him.
Drunks were the reason his sister had... passed.
Though he tried to forget that gruesome day, he couldn't. All he remembered was how warm her hand was one moment and stone cold the next as all that remained of her that was clear and recognizable was the hand he was holding that was attached to nothing.
The rest of her was...
"I'm out." Jin said as he brought his hand down to Aria's waist, helping her in keeping her balance.
The bartender could only watch helplessly as Jin took Aria away, unable to save her from the inevitable end she was about to face.
How could he intervene without risking his own head?
Jin was a man not to be messed with, he was a man always out for blood and left a trail of fresh corpses where ever he stepped.
He couldn't risk it for a woman he only met on rare days.
But it didn't mean he didn't have a heart to help her, he just couldn't.
"where are you taking me?" Aria, just realizing that she was taken out of the bar finally asked as she stopped walking entirely and glances up at the man.
His high jaws and prominent features were kissed under the moonlight and with her fading drowsiness, Aria found herself marveling at the sight before her.
He was a strong man, something easily felt underneath the fabric of his vest that pressed into her back and shoulder. He felt like a brick wall, but also soft.
What was this she was smelling though? On him specifically...
It was soft... alluring... tempting.
What perfume was it?
"What are you doing?" Jin asked as he pulled Aria's head away from his neck when she tried to get a closer swift of the perfume.
"You smell so nice." she said as she looked up at him, the lazy gaze from all the intoxication sparked something within him, something he couldn't understand.
He stared down at her face for the first time this evening, looking at the way her long lashes kissed her cheeks, the way her long wavy hair tucked itself behind her ear, her now flushed cheeks and pink ears...
This was the closest he'd ever studied a woman, even though he'd shared beds with a mountain of them.
He just never cared about their appearance, it didn't matter to him.
"You're drunk." Jin said as he stabled her waist and stepped back, leaving her to balance on herself.
And she did, surprisingly.
"I'm sobbing up." she pressed her lips together and looked to the floor. "Where were you taking me?"
He paused for a moment, knowing full well he planned on dropping her off at the police station before heading home, so that she was someone else's business.
It wouldn't be his usual way of dealing with drunks, but he didn't want the bartender to lose all respect for him.
After all, the bartender was the closest thing to an acquaintance than anyone around him.
"Do you ride?" He asked as he stepped back into the bar and fished out his helmet by the door before walking back to her.
"What?"
"Do you ride bikes? have you ever gotten on one?" he asked as he tossed the helmet to her, a minor test to see if she was sober enough for it.
To his satisfaction, she ended up catching the helmet.
"I... I don't think so." She shrugged and he nodded slowly, walking to his motorbike and getting on.
He moved back slightly, leaving just enough space for her in front of him.
"Get on." He gestured with his eyes as well and she looked around.
"I don't know you."
"And you have no where to go. Unless you want to head back to your place or just ride around until you stop being sensitive." He said as he patted the spot between his legs. "Get on before I change my mind."
She thought for a moment, looking down at the bike and up to his gaze, only to jump slightly when he turned on the ignition, roaring the bike to life.
"Alright alright... I'm coming." She sighed shakily and walked over to the motorbike, crawling underneath his veiny hand and slithered into the spot he kept for her.
Clearly it wasn't the best.
"Can I sit in the back?" she asked as she could feel his chest press into her back, making her already warm body warmer than before.
"You'll fall off. You're not sober enough for that." He said as he reached down to the bike's handles, clenching and roaring the machine until it made a deep growling sound that sent shivers down her spine. "I have long arms, I'll drive just as fine."
"But..." she stopped herself before continuing, a part of her told her not to tell him, not to make him aware of it in fear of the consequences. "... Okay..."
She strapped the helmet on and grabbed onto the parts he wasn't holding, gripping them tightly with both hands as her heart began to pound, flushing the alcohol right out of her system.
"Actually, I think I'll –." before she could get to finish, he clenched the gas and sent the motorbike booking it, almost immediately.
She gasped and struggled to maintain her balance a bit as she wasn't too clear minded, but he noticed her quick enough and wrapped one hand around her waist, pinning her to him.
His hand was warm.... too warm.
