CHAPTER 6 THREE DAYS LATER I stood sweating in a dingy basement, and the ferrety man in front of me leaned forward in his seat. “Come on, let’s see ‘em.” I reached for the bottom of my T-shirt. Could I do this? If I felt this scared undressing in front of one man, how would I parade around a club full of them? His eyes raked up and down my body as I hesitated. “I haven’t got all day.” I peeled my top off and dropped it on the chair next to me. Cool air washed over my skin.
