Heading to Carla's

chapter 42

Ayssa pov

We were finally here at Carla's pack; the guards already had the gates open so we could ride through them. I knew they would mindlink her letting her know that we were here. I was excited about this. I might just relax a little while I'm here since the Dunne and Sapphire thing is done. I knew Mariah did not like her one bit. Now I know why. When we finally made it to the pack house. Carla and her mate. And daughter Leah was standing out front waiting for us. Their house was like a freaking mansion. It was white with blue trim with a large porch. It looked homey. And peaceful. When we finally parked everyone got out of their SUVs I could tell their pack was like a family. When they saw us they came out of their houses to hurry over to them. Like they were guarding them.

"Relax everyone. They are guests. They are here to help Gabi and Alec. right here is the Lycan King Jaden. And she is the Lycan queen. Her name is Alyssa and she's my friend. So please be respectful and show them around if they need to be shown. I hugged Carla and Leah and also her mate. Carla, your home is beautiful. Thank you for inviting us here. So when do we meet Gabi? This will be the first time I had met a vampire." Carla just chuckled. She will be here soon. She's not like a normal vampire and Alec isn't either. They hunt animals but don't kill them. They take enough to be full. And they're good for a few days. You see she was with someone that treated her like s**t. Starved her and beated her. When Alec came he killed the old vampire king. Gabi ran because she thought he would do the same thing to her. She was scared for a long time. But once he found her. He convinced her he was nothing like the only vampire king. He proved to her he wasn't. And ever since then they have been together. They have been with each other for almost two hundred years now. And now the only kings brother is after the throne and her. And she is back to being scared. But she's been. Training hard. She is determined to end this once and for all. She's tired of being scared. And she won't be scared anymore. Alec is a good king. And protects his family. If this guy comes and tries to hurt her. He will destroy him."

"That's damn right I will. There will be no one hurting my mate and family." We all jumped when we heard Alec's voice.

Alec pov.

I knew that Carla's friends will be there soon so we hurried to feed and get there. No one even noticed when we arrived. They were listening to Carla's story about Gabi and how we met. When she was done.i spoke my mind.

"That's damn right. No one will hurt my mate and family. They will die. I wanted to laugh when they jumped. But I didn't. I knew I could sneak up on them sometimes. And sometimes they are aware of us being around. They turned to look at us. We bowed to the Lycan royals and they bowed to us. It was only out of respect since we were both royals.

"It's a pleasure to meet you king Jaden and queen Alyssa. Thank you for coming to help us. I have noticed a eere feeling around my place for the past few days like we are being watched. I have a feeling we'll be getting attacked soon. I just want this to end so we can all go on with our lives. I'm tired of these bastards thinking they can take what they want and when they want it." We all nodded in agreement. I knew Alyssa was going to have to deal with the rogue king soon enough. She has told Carla about it and she has told us. It's a shame that people are such dumb asses.

"Well my friends and new friends we need to get back home. If you need us. Please call on us and we will be right here." We hurried leaving to head home.

"Alright guys. That was Alec and Gabi. They don't stay out that long. Because they have their own home. Come let us show you around. And then we will see what and where you want to stay. Can I ask who is mated? About twenty had raised their hands. "alright. you will stay in the cabins out back. And the unmated will stay inside. Jaden, Alyssa you will be staying on the top floor with us. You will have your own room of course. And dinner should be done by now. We are having shrimp with pasta and lobster sauce. So if we all can gather in the dinning hall to have dinner. That would be great. And then we can get settled into our rooms.

Jaden pov

So that was Gabi, she seemed like a strong woman, and Alec I have known him since the wars he has been in. i remeber hearing that he was going to kill the Vampire king that was a evil man. it made me wonder who evil was this man for him to be killed, then I had heard what he had done with his mate. he had deserved what happened to him. Now Alec was king, I knew he ruled with an iron fist. but he also loved his people and made sure they were safe. I know he needed our help. even if he didn't ask for it. his friends and family had asked, and we are here for them. We started walking around, Carla was showing us where everyone was staying. When we got to the dining hall, I couldn't wait to sit down and eat. Alyssa seems so happy, I hope I can make her happy soon. Until then we have a vampire to kill
