King Jaden pov.
As soon as we pulled out of the pack lands we drove for a bit then I pulled over to the side. I pulled Alyssa close to me, kissing her passionately. I finally understood what she was doing when she was visiting friends. She didn't want to tell me because she felt like she couldn't trust me. s**t I love those kinds of fights. How could I say no to her about this? This is what she does. I turned the truck back on and took off down the road. I didn't want anyone bothering us so I turned the phone off and blocked any mindlinked that might come through. I'm spending time with my girl. We had dinner at this place called the olive garden. I ate spaghetti and meatballs and she ate shrimp scampi. We drinked white wine. We sat there for hours talking and she told me about her life and how long she had been fighting. I couldn't stop listening to her if I really wanted to. She told me how her dad would work so hard only to come home to her mother hating him. She wasn't really sure how her father died and why someone would want to kill him. I told her I would find out who did this to him and her. When we were done eating and drinking we left the restaurant and went home. It was nice having a conversation with her instead of arguing. Now I know why she didn't tell me. she thought I was going to make her stop. How the hell would I make her stop? unless i nailed and boarded the castle up and flat all the tires. and that still wouldn't work, since she could use her lycan to get there. So yeah I would not be able to stop her. maybe i could demand her in my royal voice to never step foot outside here again. but that would only cause big trouble with her and I. and I am trying to win her over not make her step back a ton of steps. when we finally got home. Janice was there at the door smiling with her arms crossed.
“I see that you too are getting along. it's about damn time.” Alyssa smirked, yeah we came to an agreement. and we agreed to try on our relationship, i'm moving into his room. but i'm still going to keep some of my clothes in the other room. just in case I get mad at him.” They both started laughing knowing she would get mad at me often. We all walked inside.
“Janice, have you heard from Joseph? it's been a few weeks now”
“No not yet, But it's whatever, if he comes then he will come. if not. Then I will get over it. He’s an Elder. Plus The elders' place is almost done. So maybe he will come then. but like i said, if he doesn't come. I will be fine.” I nodded as I hugged my sister. She walked to her room to relax. as we walked to ours, the office phone was ringing when we walked by the door,
“Are you going to get that? it might be important.”
“If it's important. then they will call me back in the morning, tonight is yours and my night tonight.”
Gabie pov
I have been training day and night. and building muscle in my arms and legs. i was learning how to defend my self and to punch while they were trying to hit me, Alec showed me just how he fights, and trust me it was not pretty, he could rip your throat out with just one punch. he could break all your teeth out and punch a hole in your stomach and kill you in seconds, he showed me everything that i needed and wanted to learn. I was scared at first because I didn't know what to think. I didn't think I could do these things that he could do, but I could and I did. even Carla came and watched on and she learned a few moves, even though she could use the moves while fighting because sometimes people do die during those fights, when Alec and I was a lone, it was crazy sometimes. he would train me so hard that i would actually be sweating, and then he would run me a bath to let me soak in a hot tub full of hot water. he would get in there with me, sitting me where i was straddling him. he would look into my eyes and smile,
“I think you are ready Gabi. You know he will be here in a few days. to claim his crown and you.”
“There is no way Alec. I am yours, I carry your mark on me and you carry mine. We are a team Alec. I am not going anywhere, where you go I go. if you die I will die, Where you go I will follow. He sighed knowing I meant every word I just said.
‘Gabi listen to me okay. If he kills me that will lead you to kill him. You must live for me. and Take care of this castle with its people. I already have paperwork stating if I die, you will become the leader. this time I sighed not liking what I heard. He pulled me close. I felt his hardness as he sat me on him. We made love for hours and when the water got cold he carried me to the bed and we did the same. I knew in a few days he will be here and I will be the one that will finish him. He will not kill my mate. I will not allow it.
Alec pov
Right now this is hard. Hard for me to understand why she wants to train. She wants to fight this man, but if i can help it I will be fighting him. there is no way I will let him lay a hand on her. she's already been through so much already. Now this bastard wants to kill me for the title and for her, and those two he is not going to get, I have something he doesn't have, Wolfsbane it kills us vampires, it posions us until we die. i’ll shove the s**t in his mouth and make him swallow it, that will make his stomach blowup inside of him. That would do the trick. When she finally fell asleep in my arms, I listened to her breath for a while, yes us vampires do sleep if we choose to, but it is only for a few hours at a time. Just to rest our eyes and relax, I decided to sleep for a while so I can rest. I know he will be here soon. i told my family to do what they must, if they want to run then run, if they want to stay then stay. if they want to fight then fight. but they do what they want to do. It's just a matter of time. I will not lose the love of my life.
