Jaden pov

I was a little shocked when my door opened and it was Alyssa, i don't know what came over her, but that damn woman shocked the hell out of me, i had to hang on for dear life, she was claiming what was hers, when she was done she just walked right back into her room. a few minutes later she sent me a mindlink.

“If you ever let another b***h touch you as long as she did, i will be biting it off next time, she won't be leaving she will be sleeping with the cooks, i will see you in the morning and we will not be talking about what happened tonight, I tried to mindlink her back but she put up a block. i guess she saw and heard everything that had happened, s**t, i should had kicked her ass right out of here when i frist scented that she was in here, but Apart of my liked the attention that she was giving me, I had missed the touching and the flirting but another part of me knew it was wrong. I have a mate, But my f*****g mate hardly spends any time with me. and why does she want Sapphire in this f*****g castle, this really pisses me off. f**k it. tomorrow after we get done with the Sun moon pack. We are going to have a long talk about this. I am so sick of putting off talks. I am tired of her telling me she is going to go see friends and all I see when she gets back is fading bruising, and even my head guard tells me she bumps into things when I know she is not that damn clumsy.

The next morning, i took a long hot shower, dried off and got dressed in a black tshirt and black jeans, the shirt showed off my full sleeve tattoos. my hair in a pony tail because we are going on bussniess not fun. and after we get done. we are going to go to dinner, and after dinner, we will go someplace and have a conversation. i haven't forgotten about last night. and what she said to me. I am the f*****g king i think we will come back here. and go into the throne room to have our talk., that is the only room that the doors will lock and no one will come inside if they hear any screaming. I knew Alyssa should be done with training she gets up at three am and have those girls out there training and fighting, they are loving the training, useally these little girls all they want to do is arrange flowers and learn to plan parties, they need to learn more instead of this s**t so im glad Alyssa is teaching them other things besides that. I walked down stairs waiting on Alyssa to come back downstairs, she came a few minutes later wearing the same thing. A black pull over shirt with black jeans with boots on. her hair was in a messy bun. she was carring a duffle bag in her right hand.

“What is that for?”

“I plan on shifting to see if i can find any holes and see if i can find who is letting those rogues inside that pack land. i had given my oath to protect. i am not going back on that oath.” We got into my truck and took off, the pack land was only a few hours away. We talked about what was going to happen when we got there, she needed to be prepared. These are wolves that live around my kingdom. They came here to be protected, not slaughtered. She was listening closely, I knew she was voiding the conversation about last night and so was I. I didn't even want to talk about last night. I knew what i wanted to talk about. But I'm not going to bring it up while we are heading to this pack. We both didn't need to be angry at the same time while we were here, we stopped to get gas and something to eat. I knew lycans owned this gas station. when they knew who i was they went to bow. but I shook my head. when i’m here in your store. I am just a buyer of gas and drinks. you do not have to bow. but i do thank you for trying, i paid for gas and drinks and snacks. and left the store, i pumped the gas and took off again. We ate chips and drank our sodas, she had a icy that she put four flavors in her cup. I don't see how she could do that. wouldn't that taste weird, when she gave me a taste. it really tasted good, i have to make a mental note to stop at that store and do the same thing.

When we finally got to the Sun moon pack. I knew the guards would had mindlinked the alpha because he was standing there waiting for us to pull up and park. I saw many boxes against the pack house, it must have arrived today or yesterday. I got out of the truck and opened Alyssa's door so she could jump out, she landed right beside me. smirking and slapping my ass, I chuckled, I loved the affection she gives me when she wants to. I knew i was wrong about thinking that. I hardly pay her any mind at all only when i want something or need to speak with her. she makes me dinner washes my clothes and hangs out with me, why do i need to be so pissed off with her. I am just tired of the serects. We walked over to Alpha Cross, and interduced her to Alpha Cross,

I shake his hand,

‘Alpha Cross, this is my Luna and my queen Alyssa. She's a tough cookie, she is planning on shifting to run around your border to see if there are any holes or if anyone is letting them inside, if they are she is sure to find them. and bring them back here to you. but first let's go inside so we can talk about this fence. when did it arrive?” I did notice that he kept eyeing Alyssa like he knew her. but how did he know her. i needed to shake this jealousy off so i can do this bussniess.

‘It arrived just this morning my king.”

‘Please Alpha Cross call me Jaden. no one outside this pack needs to know I am the king okay.” it's not that I am scared of an attack. I am worried about them, I am never scared of an attack. I will rip their f*****g throat out if they try and attack while i am here. we went inside and sat down in his office.

‘So, How long have they been attacking? has anyone else died since the attack?”

“it started happening about a month ago. first it was just to steal food and drink. then it got worse. they tried to steal our children they killed a few of our warriors. we cant figure out how they keep getting inside. We had fault them off the best we could. We even keep the children inside now. they wont even come out to get some fresh air without being scared or someone snatching them up. It can not go on like this with our pups being so scared to come out and play in the sun.”

‘Well we are here to fix the problem today Alpha Cross. Alyssa had said. Can we walk around and meet these children? Or just take a peak at them. i don't want to interrupted what they are doing.``

“You sure can. come on We will show you around.” I was wondering who we where but then when we turned I saw a beauitful woman standing at the office door.

“I am sorry i am late. I was playing with the children. My mate mindlinked me and told me you was here so i tried to hurry here to meet you. The name is Crissy, and it’s very nice to meet the both of you. come on I will show you the kids and where they play now.” We followed both of them to a huge building. It was a little odd but when we went inside we saw all the kids playing on slides and swinging in swings, it was like an indoor outdoor playground. Some of the kids looked happy, others looked sad like they wanted to be outside to feel the sun on their faces. We walked back outside. I don't blame them. I would want to be outside if I was a child. We went back outside to take a look around, i didn't like the feeling that we were being watched. i knew who they were. I could smell them from here. Rotten fruit and spoiled milk. with a hint of death. I growled looking around letting them know if they come forward they will die. Shadow didn't like this smell one bit, it was time for the fence to be put up,. I bought the most powerful fence, if any rogue touched it they would die on the spot. they wouldn’t even be able to let go because they would be fried up. We branched out wiring and put poles into the ground. We went for hours getting this up and going, it took me and every pack member minus the children that helped us. It took nearly five years to get this done. We wired it together and made sure that it worked, we threw a branch at the tall electric fence to see what would happen, and it fried it. Good, it's working.

‘Jaden. since yall are done with the fence I want to go for a run and see what is going on. I want to see if this fence is working all around it.’ I nodded ‘We will go together, that way Sahdow and Mariah will be able to spend time together. she agreed. we told Cross we would be right back.
