Our Mate

My brother, and I just finished with our meeting with other Russian alphas, which I may add is super boring. But we need to keep everyone in check, if we want a united and peaceful country.
Once the both of us left the confinement of the meeting room, and walking in the hallway among human tourists, we were hit by a very alluring and mouth watering scent. Vanilla and coffee.
I looked at my brother who is already looking at me with wide eyes.
"Please tell me you smelled that. " He said.
I nodded.
"Coffee. I love the smell of that." Lykos said.
"And vanilla smells heavenly." I told him.
We frantically looked around until our eyes fell towards a girl with dark hair. She looks like she's touring the place. And I know she felt us because she suddenly stood still. Then two girls, probably her friends, dragged her out. We tried to chase her, but we suddenly lost her in the sea of people.
We silently cursed.
"That's our mate. " Lykos said.
"Yes. She's here. In the flesh." I said.
"And she's gone. " Lykos added, which made both of us frown.
I balled my fist.
"We'll find her. Even if it's the last thing we do." I said with gritted teeth.
"I agree brother. Now we know she's just here, we can easily find her. "
I mentally agreed.

When we got back to our pack house, we immediately called beta Tyler to follow us in our office.
Tyler Sokolov is the son of the former beta of this pack. His father was one of those who rebelled against alpha Vladimir, and was unfortunately killed in the war.
Once we were seated behind our desk, Lykos spoke.
"Anything happened while were on the meeting?"
"Nothing really. Except for the usual bickering of my sister, and her mate." Tyler said, then he scratched his chin looking up.
"Oh and the Olsen Twins wannabe just arrived. " He added.
Lykos and I groaned.
Zoe and Chloe aka the Olsen twins wannabe have been chasing my brother, and I since the day we were crowned as high alphas. They claimed that they are our mates, which is not true.
"And they went on and on, ranting how the both of you are dying to see them. That your 'mate bond' is growing." he said.
Lykos groaned and placed his head on the table.
"When will they realize that we are not mates? Never was, never will. " I said, massaging my temples.
"And besides, we found our mate. " Lykos said.
Tyler's eyes widened, and he took a seat in front of our desk.
"Really? Your mate? Wait. You said mate? Not mates?" Tyler asked.
Lykos and I nodded.
"Zari said we'll be sharing one single mate." Lykos said.
"We saw her earlier in the Kremlin. But unfortunately, we lost her. " I said.
"Damn it. We haven't even see her face. Just her silky smooth hair. " Lykos added, sitting up straight.
Tyler creased his forehead.
"That is kind of complicated. But at least, she's here in Russia. Not in another country or continent . "
"I know. My brother, and I won't stop until we found her. "Lykos started.
"Until we find her, no word to anyone about this. And keep the Olsen twins wannabe from us. " I added.
Tyler chuckled and raised his thumbs up.
"We wouldn't want our mate to think that we're players like other guys. "I said.
My brother, and I promised ourselves that we would wait for our mate just like what our other siblings did. For us, it's the best thing we can give our mate, next to our love and loyalty.
Tyler mocked to be hurt.
"You wound me alpha. " He said.
I rolled my eyes. Tyler is your typical playboy. But I'm sure his life will have a 360° turn once he found his mate.
"I swear once you meet your mate, you'll regret that you slept around." Lykos paused.
"Our dad found it out the hard way. " he added.
Indeed. According to what we heard, our dad used to sleep around too. But when he met my mom, everything changed, and he had a hard time winning our mom's heart.
They faced a lot of problems, but they managed to get through it together. Then they got busy and now they have six children with a couple of grandchildren to spoil.
"I'll think about it when I find her." Tyler said.
My brother, and I shook our heads and dismissed him.
When we were alone in our office, I sighed when my mind drifted back to our mate.
"How can we find her?" I heard Lykos ask.
"I have no idea brother. But I hope we find her soon." I told him.
May the moon goddess help us find our destined mate.
