We decided that we didn’t want to be away from Star; she is so strong, but we know that today must have taken its toll on her. Ace linked Mum to meet us outside the house.
She jogs out and straight into our arms, checking us all out for any injuries we have kept from her. “Mum, we are fine. How’s it going in there?”
She grins, “your Luna and the girls are giving our guests a pampering. They need it, poor girls.”
“We know you guys are going to stay with them tonight, but Star has had a rough day, fu.ck she has had a rough month, so we are going to stay next door, and we want Star with us. She deserves a little pampering too, don’t you think?”
She bounces on her toes in excitement, “Yes she definitely does OK, can you arrange dinner, and then you can take her after we have eaten?
