All four of us are in shock. Dad ordered a guard to take the rogue, whose name we now know is Oscar, to one of the nicer cells on the top floor of the prison. Once he is gone, we all stare at each other.
Dad stood and started to pace., “So they are definitely after Star. We hoped this day would never come. We thought we knew who the bad guys were and tried to keep an eye out for them. What do you guys think? Is Liam to be trusted?”
Alexei answers, his voice full of conviction, “yes, both Star and I are sure he speaks the truth, and both him and Cam fought by our sides during the attack, but even before that, seeing a man like Liam, breakdown like he did, I understand that emotion was real.”
Dad nods. “I suppose it’s easier for you guys. You've only known the truth for a few days
