Chapter 30

While crowd start to ransack through the house in massive numbers, Milo finds himself ignited in the fear of his life as the werewolf with burning hands starts to walk towards him with nothing but rage while he attempts to crawl out his way from his lab.

"Whatever it is, that you want, I can give it to you, just, please.. don't kill me, I could be of use to you, just don't.." continued Milo begging while the werewolf descends out at a instant, lunging off directly to his face as it bites down and devours him completely while from above, the people are scouring across the place.

Huddled with swarms of crowd that seem to only grow more with each remaining time until the entire mansion was threw down of all soldiers who surrender themselves while very few start to run for their life, attempting to survive with what they could gather as protesters take complete control of the house while having no idea that a secret basement resides below until a devastating sound was heard.

"What the hell was that?" asked a person as each starts to feel a tremor coming down from below as the ground starts shaking until from the ground, their eyes are struck in shock when it is revealed the ones causing the stir had been the creatures within the lab which seemed like demons coming out from the depths of hell as each starts to destroy the floor and pile down on the floor while residents are shocked and flee in terror over this.

Meanwhile, as this goes down, on the other side, Darren who had been waiting all along for Elijah to come popping in his hotel room only gets certain thugs of vampires, wrapped themselves up in chains almost like they are mercenary wannabes. "Go ahead, knock the door." said a wannabe. "You knock it first." said another wannabe.

"Fine, I'll do it." said a wannabe as he starts to bash in the door with a few knocks in which Darren inside turns around and walks towards the door. Despite hearing the sound of several heartbeats over the other side of the door, Darren comes to peak in to see who it was, until he realises it's nothing more than a bunch of thugs Elijah has sent after him.

"A shame he didn't come." whispered Darren as he opens in the door partially with chain and greets them. "What?" asked Darren with a stiff. "You him? the one who called?" asked Elijah. "Indeed, pray tell me where is the one I called for?" asked Darren.

"The undisputed champion has no time for losers like you.. you can't come barging in, thinking like you own the place." said the wannabe. "I actually do, own the place, the hotel is mine." said Darren while the wannabes looked upon each other, then burst out a laugh in chorus upon his comment while Darren too smiles, but with partial smirk in his eyes.

"What? you don't believe me?" asked Darren. "This hotel, Lotus Flower Peaks, belongs to Darren Azirel you i***t, he's the founder and chairman of Strich Enterprises, the parent company that runs and fuels amongst nineteen planets of resources, including to this casino.. to think you've got the nerve to.." said the wannabe until Darren shuts down the door suddenly, then opens it without his keychain as he is revealed fully in his coat with the mark of his family symbol on his ring as everyone start to grow silent upon revealing his true identity.

"You.. you are.. where did you get that ring?" asked a wannabe as they start to step back while Darren moves forward. "You really want a answer to that? you already know how." said Darren. "That cannot be.. you can't be Darren, he isn't here, you're someone else." said the wannabe.

"I am me, you i***t, you saw the ring, I haven't got the time to prove myself to you, where is Elijah?" asked Darren. "Take out your weapons lads! let's kill the bastard and take his ring." said the wannabe as they take out their weapons one by one and start enraging into combat all at once as Darren defends himself, fighting down as they come while using their own weapons against them except for one whom he disarms by ripping out both his hands as he continues to scream as Darren ours him down on his knees.

"I didn't want to come to this, but fine.." said Darren as he kicks off the surviving enemy and forces him to drop down while pulling his feet at the wannabes head.

"Listen, very carefully you i***t, I want to you tell Elijah, I want to meet him, and him alone, send one more group of men after me, and I swear, death will be the least of your concerns, I will burn down everything he built with a simple snap of my fingers, understand?" asked Darren to which the wannabe tries to say something but his face remains smudged to the floor, he is unable to spell out anything at all.

"Don't hear a word.. oh, wait.." said Darren when he hears his phone ringing, excepting to see Elijah calling him, but to his surprise, it turns out to be Klaus Azirel himself. "Ah, this is ought to be interesting." said Darren as he answers the phone.

"Where are you? Lucien isn't not answering his phone, and neither is Ayame." asked Klaus as the first thing once Darren answered.

"I was ought to find leads for our sisters disappearance, you?" asked Darren. "Look no further, I've found it.. Kane's been keeping her all along." said Darren. "Kane? Which Kane do you mean?" asked Darren.

"You know which Kane I am referring to." said Klaus. "But... he's dead.. how can he?" continued Darren asking until Klaus interrupts as he speaks back. "I have the exact same question, I was given a address on where to find him in case if I figure out it was him." said Klaus.

"Luring you into a trap, it has to be him, or someone is trying to copy his acts." said Darren. "If it is him, then you know every second we waste is a danger to both her and us, we need to confront Kane and kill him now, before he causes more harm." said Klaus.

"Will be with you, brother, just send me the address, I'll find my way out there, do not try to handle him alone, wait for us." said Darren. "I won't.. waited long enough, come up if you could keep up, otherwise you might regret never having to say your prayers again." said Klaus as he hangs up instantly, driving Darren quite amazed, yet afraid of what it is to come.

"He's afraid.. he's never afraid, of anyone, why now?" asked Darren to himself while continuing to strangle the one under him whom he doesn't notice until he stops breathing.

"Oops, you're dead.. I told you to run.. you didn't listen, neither will I now." said Darren who smashes his feet through his head and walks forward almost like he is nothing more than a garbage.

"If Kane, is indeed back, prepares it is for the best if Ayame isn't with me, god knows how she is faring." said Darren.

Meanwhile, after the outburst left by the wake of the city, as well as the monsters, the base is once again, left abandoned while only official police are swarming across the place, except for under it which they are afraid to do so.

"What could be down there? aliens? demons?" asked the detective towards the cop. "Maybe nothing.. all the monsters we identified has hid themselves in forests, if there was anyone a single one in here, it could be dead, or asleep. said the detective.

"What are you thinking then? that it's dangerous?" as the cop. "Of course it's just, why else risk myself from all the way out here." said the detective as a growing kind of voice comes from within that catches everyone's eyes, including the detective himself who runs ought towards the control room.

"What the hell was that? who spoke inside?" asked the detective. "We don't know sir, up until now, we didn't hear any time of disturbance until now.." said the cop.

"Get a squad ready, I want them prepared and loading with guns, I will lead them." said the detective. " it's going to be a hell of a fight if you're going in, one shot, and you take the entire block down." said the cop. "What do you mean? entire block down?" asked the detective.

"They used biogas to.. chase away whatever beasts lurks inside.. turns out there. aren't any." said another soldier.

"There will always be one person in every place to tell the tale, only we have to find this thing, that's all, prepare a team, we move out!" shouted the detective as time passed, a group of several authorities are coming up with the detective on the lead as they send down men inside while equipping themselves with cameras and equipments enough to light and record the way in as they land and quietly proceed through.

"I'm seeing dark.. like for miles, wherever these.. things came from, they're down below, like way down below." said the detective as they continue to send them down until they eventually reach the land.

"Target echo, this is Beta Squad, we made it clean and clear, no sound, and no surprising visitors either, this place looks abandoned." said the detective as the transmission opens out of a sudden which causes a slight disturbances as each go onward to lower their volume.

"Detective, this is Cpt Sanjay, heard you're in the scene, what do you see?" asked Sanjay. "Nothing much cap, looks to be some kind of a lab.. wait.. human!" shouted the detective as he rushes towards a specific spot covered by rubble to find a human hand within, revealed to be a girl.
