Sitting in Lucas' office, Alex couldn't help but give a blushed smile, her head lowered.
Lucas looked from her in one chair, to Rowan in the other.
He c****d a brow as he cleared his throat. "Explain how the bed broke?"
"Well.." Rowan started.
"I was afraid of being attacked... being in heat and all. So I went to Rowan, for protection.." Alex added.
"So Rowan attacked you?" He looked to Rowan, who's face was so red.
"No no!" Rowan interjected.
