Steele shudders as he looks around trying to find anyone there, trying to find any eyes on them. Zero speaks in a whisper and, even though they are moving at a fast speed, the whole group can hear.

Steele looks around, seeing the perfect place, but it is a risk, it is either a really good hiding place or it is backing them into a corner that they will never be able to come out of. He knows that they can't run forever, they will never be able to outrun the wolves, hiding is better.
"Start covering our tracks"
Griffin and Zero start to use every technique they have been taught to cover their tracks with great haste. They are scared. This is too much for the small group of juveniles to handle.
