CHAPTER SIXTEEN As she lowered back onto the hotel bed, a whooshing sigh of relief arose from Ilse's lips. She closed her eyes briefly, head downturned as she allowed some of the exhaustion from the day to lift from her shoulders. One hand rested against her thigh, and she rubbed at it with another, feeling a strange twinge from overuse, holding that flashlight back at the second lair. Her eyes opened at this, and she stared towards the door to her hotel room. Shut. Locked. Bolted. She shook her head. It was one thing to hear the experiences of her clients.
