Chapter 3- this is proof

759 Words
I shuffle through the books in the contemporary fantasy section looking for any information about Agartha. After scanning covers and opening and shutting books I finally come across a paperback titled: ‘Agartha the earth’s inner world’. I flip through the first few pages and read: ‘The earth is hallow and populated by an advanced race, who is planning to come to the aid of people on the surface very soon. Will this concept be accepted by scientists and the religious community? Is this science - fiction, fantasy or liberation?’ I shut the book and head towards the computers. Searching ‘Agartha’ I come across an article: Hallow earth theory; is the subterranean civilisation of Agartha real? I scroll down and there’s a section talking about the hallow earth theory: ‘The hollow Earth concept was originally proposed in the 17th century by Edmond Halley, discoverer of the eponymous short-orbit comet that swings past Earth every 75 years or so. Halley believed the Earth consisted of several concentric shells separated by individual atmospheres, with the outermost layer having a thickness of about 500 miles. Halley believed natural phenomena like the Aurora Borealis and magnetic field variance were products of these multiple layers, which he said moved independently of each other.’ I read on: ‘More than a century later, Halley’s theory was expanded on by John Cleves Symmes, who published a paper detailing his intent to travel to the Earth’s interior. Symmes devoted the rest of his life garnering support for a hollow earth expedition, but fell sick during a trip to Quebec to give a lecture on his theory.’ I’ve never really been into science and all that but this idea of there being a hallow earth is so engrossing. I then come across a section that talks about an explorer who supposedly went to Agartha. This must be what Jenevive was talking about. Curiosity taking over me I read on: ‘Admiral Richard E. Byrd of the U.S. Navy pioneered further exploration of the poles. After multiple trips to the arctic territories, there is one Byrd narrative that sticks out more than the rest: his record-setting flight over the North Pole. According to an alleged diary entry written during his polar flight, Byrd came across a warm, lush climate with Mammoth-like creatures and an ancient human race that had been residing within the Earth. His plane was commandeered mid-air and landed for him by people in the center of the Earth who intercepted his plane with saucer-shaped aircraft. Upon landing, he was met by emissaries of a civilization many assume to be the mythical Agartha. These alleged Agarthans expressed their concern about humanity’s use of atomic bombs during WWII and employed Byrd as their ambassador to return to the U.S. government and relay their sentiment.’ I stop. Is this real? I wonder. Could this Admiral really of gone to this new world? It all seems to good to be true. But then I read a section which talks about the fact that the Admiral was forced to keep silent by the US government. Apparently they already knew about Agartha way before the Admiral did and this makes me wonder: what if there really is an Agartha? I’m so distracted by the article that I don’t notice the time. Break is almost over and Laiyla and Saemi will be disappointed in me, but strangely I find myself not caring. I’m almost about to leave when a thought comes to my head. I search on Google: ‘North Pole Agartha’ and it’s then that I realise. It must be real. This mythical kingdom - or something along the lines because there it is. proof. Staring back at me on the screen is a picture of our marble blue planet Earth with a huge hole on the North Pole. I’m shocked. I zoom in and the space in the hole is unmistakable. Scrolling down I find articles after articles titled: ‘NASA has been lying to us.’ ‘What NASA hid from the world.’ NASA images show a big hole in the North Pole’. My head starts buzzing with thoughts, ideas and questions. Apparently NASA took down the original photo but people all over the web have reposted it and are speculating. I find myself considering the possibility of this. If NASA found an image of a hole in the North Pole and then just erased it from their website that says something-right? NASA images don’t lie- do they? This is proof right here that something exists.
