I looked out the window of the car as we drove away.
There were a few coaster busses in front and behind us where my pack members in but we Lia, Denisse, Bry and I were in a car.
I fought the urge to look back as we left the palace territory.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
The surprising part was that Quin wasn't even whimpering or complaining whatsoever.
She was quiet.
Actually, she's been like that since the wedding day when we were waiting oh so patiently for our mate.
Maybe she too has realized just how serious our problem actually is with Luke.
I don't like that she's not communicating with me but maybe she's trying to take her time in understanding the situation better.
I haven't linked with Luke's wolf for a while now and maybe that's for the best.
