The moment my eyes saw the three motionless bodies ― two of them belonging to Bi and Min ― I punched a nearby tree out of rage.
I couldn't save them.

"Don't fret, Kie," Liy said, lifting both Min and Bi into his arms. "I'm sure they're not totally dead."
I'm sure that's denial trying to break its way through his common sense. He does this every time he witnesses someone we're close to drop down and die.
"Their hearts aren't beating, Liy! Their blood flow has stopped! They're not breathing!" I shouted, grasping at my hair. I paced back and forth as Liy walked past me.
"Well, look at the bright side," A tear fell from his eye, "RCR won't murder Min anymore. There's nothing to profit off of."
