Chapter 19 Celestina's POV I know I could not sleep without talking to her mother. But I do not know how would I be able to get a chance to see her again. I look at the girl again to see in her face if she knew everything I did to her mother. I am afraid that her mother told her about the attitude I showed her. And maybe just not her, she probably told it to everyone in this mansion. And I do not want them to have that kind of impression to me. I mean I will not care for what others think of me for as long as it is true. But that incident was just unintentional. "Do you sleep in the same room with your mother?" I asked her and she nods. "Yes, Miss Celestina. We are living outside, at back of this mansion with my father," she tells and I nod. So their family is working with King Zen. And I think that they are all familiars. This kid is already working as a familiar. Her parents are surely a familiar for a long time ago that is why she became one too. "Do you think that your mother is still awake? Do you think I could still talk to her after eating my dinner?" I asked her and saw how she frowns a little because of my question. And I know that she wonders of what could be the reason why do I need to talk to her mother. But it only means that she still does not know anything because she does not have any idea. She takes a glance in her wrist watch and I think that she is calculating the hours. "Yes, Miss Celestina. I think that she is still awake by now," she says when she knew that it is still early. "That would be great! Can you bring me to her after this?" I asked and she smiles at me before nodding her head. "Sure, Miss Celestina," she says. So that she will no longer wait for me, I eat faster than my normal eat. I can see in her face how patiently she could wait. There is no sign of impatience in her eyes and she is just looking outside the window like she is looking at someone there. So out of my curiosity, I look at the window too but I see no one there. So I think that she just avoiding to watch me by looking at something else. And outside the window was the one she chose to look at. Right after finishing my food, a maid in uniform came to the table to clean it. I am kinda shy because they really serve for me even though there is no clue on what is my purpose here in this mansion. They treat me like a valued guest without them knowing that I am just my father's repayment. "Can we go now, Miss Celestina?" the girl asked me and I nod. I follow her footsteps and she brings me out of the mansion. She said that we can use the backdoor but it will be more convenient if we will go there with the patio. We stopped in front of the door of a tiny house and I think that this is already their house. She knocks and after the three knocks the door opened and my heart skips a beat when the woman I was looking for was the one who opened the door for us. I saw the way her completely smiling face to her daughter shifted into surprise when she diverted her glance at me. But after recovering from the shock, she managed to smile at me. But even though how she tries, the awkward feeling in her inner thought is very evident. I am feeling awkward too but I try my best to act normal, especially in front of her daughter who has no idea of what just happened. "Hey, Uhm, good evening." I do not know what should I tell her first so I decided to greet her formally even though I know to myself that I almost stutter. "Good evening, Miss Celestina. What a pleasant surprise seeing you here. Would you like to come in? I am so sorry, I was not expecting this," she says those words nervously and I know that she is trying her best to calm down. "I am so sorry. It is not actually my plan to go here tonight. But I have found out that you are her mother. So here I am, tryna to push my luck if ever I could speak to you," I said and she became more nervous. "Speak to me? Why would you like to speak to me, Miss Celestina?" she asks politely but I can already see in her eyes that she already knew the answer. "You know, you will find out if you will come to me," I said and she was stunned. I know that she is trying to estimate things if she will talk to me. She looks at her daughter and smiled at her. "Go to your room, Mirah. I will speak to Miss Celestina for a while." The girl named Mirah smiled at her mother. She bids goodbye to me first before she turns her back on us. We watch her as she walks into her room. Right after she closed her room's door, the woman—who I still do not know the name, face me again. From smiling, her expression became serious. Since we walk through the patio a while ago, I invited her there because it is a nice and perfect place to talk in. I do not know how should I start the conversation between us so I asked her to take a sit first. I know she is not feeling comfortable too but this is what we should do. I need to ask her of what did she notice me that moment because I just realized something. That was not so me and now I am wondering of what could really happened.
