Alpha pushes me into Zane's room and commands Zane to mate with me.
My wolf wants to be here with her mate, I want to be here with my mate, but I also want to make sure I get to go out and track those rogues as soon as possible.
Now, with someone trying to harm me, the Alpha believes being mated to Zane will remove that problem. I am going to be strong and do what I came here for, and then watch my mate join the others to go kill them. How did Dad and Alpha live through losing a mate? That was now a new fear. Dad said it was partly because of us being such small pups and the need to protect us, and part being, that the Alpha was going through the same pain, he had small pups too.
