Madison POV The sound of the alarm woke me. I rolled over and found the cold empty side of the bed. It seemed like Zane had not gone to bed. Groggily, I got up, took a shower, and did my morning ablutions. My growling stomach had me heading to the kitchens for a bite to eat before I went hunting for my mate. The kitchen was a hive of activity, as the staff got food ready for the morning rush, I gave Mary a quick hug, and she handed me a plate of food, took a seat on the corner table in the kitchen, and started to devour my meal. I watched the bustle in the kitchen, amazed that no matter how busy it seemed, the kitchen ran with efficiency and laughter, the girls and guys managed to seem to enjoy their jobs, and no tension was apparent in the kitchens.
