Madison POV
The frozen water was a challenge to cross. One poor guy fell into the cold water when a thin part of the ice broke. Once we managed to get him out and waited for him to shake out the water off his fur and spray the scent spay, the warriors were all on high alert, cautious that rogues may be close enough to smell the soaking warrior, they rushed the rest of the way across the slippery ice and rested briefly on the other side, giving the warrior a chance to clean himself up before we headed closer to the next cave. I gave him a protein bar and let him rest for ten minutes.
I ran on high alert all the way to the next cave. This one had a large clearing before the opening, and no trees close by. I have no choice, but to place them in trees far away.
