I squealed with delight as Zane swung me around as if I weighed nothing, and I tried not to be embarrassed as the Alpha gave us a smirk. Zane asked for us to meet in the inner office, so we turned around. Zane placed his arm around my waist and drew me in close, making me feel good after my day out on the field, and I am glad I showered the moment I arrived back. Alpha was not surprised to hear that the Dark River Pack was seen in the cave area, especially after I had just met the Advisor. He had a hint it might be them, call it Alpha’s gut feeling. It felt like I was getting somewhere.
Identifying the pack behind the raids was a big step, though I still had my doubts about the Northern Pack. Was it part of this too?
