Madison POV The run through the forest was intense. I was on alert from the moment I left the pack house. My wolf loved being out on a run, but knew, this time, we were out to see if we could get the Beta out of the advisor’s hands and not out for fun. As I approach the mine site area, I slow down. Betsy lets me take control, but I stay in my wolf form for now, using her nose to hunt around. I walked to the right side of the mine entrance, looking for the vent shafts.
