Madison POV A room with no windows made it harder to discern the time of day. Have I slept all night or only a few hours? I struggled out of bed and over to the dressing table to find my phone. It was five am. I slept in. I am usually up at four. I blame sleeping underground, where there is basically no wind, rain, sun, or moon, which means no birds singing the rising of the sun, no animal sounds, and no rustling of the trees. It was an eerie feeling, and one I am not sure if I want to get used to. Betsy my wolf agreed with me, she did not like it underground, she longed to feel the moon and the sun on her fur.
