Madison POV
I put the communicator in Zane’s ear, and he put one in mine, and we took off towards the furthest cave.
We nipped and jumped around each other, being the first time we had been out in our wolf form. We were enjoying playing chase and jumping over logs until we had run for about an hour.
I suddenly became aware we were not alone, it was not a smell or anything like that, it was a feeling. I slowed down and trotted for about fifteen minutes before the wolf came out of hiding. I guess he had enough of following us.
The wolf did not smell like a rogue or any pack I had met so far. He stood in front of us and just stared. I was unsure what to do at first. We did not want to attack or shift.
