"ladies and gentlemen welcome to the award ceremony for the best businessman of this year." The anchor announced
Not everyone is giving him attention. Few are busy with their own work as well.
Time passed with a little speech that the anchor gave.
"so now I would like to call Mr Aditya Sengupta to take the award." The anchor announced
Aditya looked at the stage and got up from his seat.
He can hear the round of applause he is getting.
He reached the stage and took the award.
"Mr Sengupta say few words about what you feel," The anchor requested him
"Good evening everyone. Today is a really big day for me. I won the best businessman award for 3 years straight so I did a hat trick here. Behind my success is obviously my parents who made me capable of doing it. But another person is also here. Without her support, I could not have become what I'm today. And that person is my Wife my Sweta, so this award is for her and my parents. Thank you, "Aditya said with a big smile and came down
But the crowd felt silent after it. Some started gossiping some started pitying him.
But he didn't pay any attention to them.
He is waiting for this award to finish so he can go back.
" Mamu, " a kid called Aditya
He smiled hearing his little monkey's voice
"Souvik how many times I told you not to scream." Mia scold her 2 and a half years old son
Aditya goes towards them and smiled at Souvik.
"don't scold him, Mia, he is a kid," Aditya said
"I don't need any suggestions from you about what I should do with my son. I need to give him the lessons from his childhood so that he won't behave like some of his relatives." Mia said indirectly taunting him
"Minerva not here," Soumyajit said
"congratulations Aditya," Soumyajit said
"Thanks," Aditya replied
He is hurt by his sister's behaviour but he knows he deserves more than it.
He is grateful of soumyajit that at least he is in talking terms with him.
He remembered his words from the past.
"What should I say to you when I'm the culprit as well? You were blinded by lies and I was blinded by my own. We both are her culprits. I can't punish you because then who will punish me?"
These were the exact words he said to Aditya.
"Mamu," Souvik again whined
"let him go, Minerva," Soumyajit said
"I don't want to," Minerva said
"it's ok Soumyajit, Souvik buddy we will meet some other time ok now your ma is angry. So don't make her angrier." He said to
Little Souvik who nodded his head
But the question is how much he understands his talks?
Mia left without any single word with Souvik.
" I'm sorry for her behaviour, "Soumyajit said to Aditya
" you don't have to, I deserve it or I say I deserve more I'm still in shock why you forgive me for my sins? "Aditya asked him
Soumyajit give him a sad smile and said

" I need to take my leave, bye, "Soumyajit said and left from there
Aditya sighed he also decided to leave but he collided with someone.

Aditya's face hardens seeing the person in front of him.
He decided to avoid her and leave.

Few tears escape her eyes but she wiped them away. She doesn't want to create any drama.
She knows she deserves it for hurting an innocent soul. She snatches someone's happiness and her whole world is snatched from her.
Aditya avoided the media and went back to his house.
The same house that he shares with Mahi once.
He reaches there and opens the lock.
"I'm back Sweta where are you?" He said as he didn't get any sound
"Sweta," He called again
He got tense and checked-in their room and found her there. Standing in front of the window
"Sweta I was scared for you. Why didn't you answer me when I called you," He asked her
She didn't reply like every time.
"I know I'm late I should have come back soon but you know na I got busy. Won't you forgive me?" He asked her
"OK tell me what to do so you will forgive me? I will do everything." He said but no response
"OK fine you stay angry with me. I won't talk to you as well." Aditya said and go to change his dress
He came outside and found her sitting on their bed.
"won't you talk to me?" Aditya asked her again
"How can a hologram reply Dadabhai?" Bharat asked Aditya
"Bharat, how did you come here? And moreover, have you forgotten your manners?" Aditya asked him angrily
"I came here with the duplicate key. And I didn't forget my manners I knocked before entering but couldn't stop myself from commenting when I can see my brother is behaving like a mad man. How long you will be like this Dadabhai? How long?" Bharat asked him
"I'm perfectly fine nothing has happened to me and you should not come when a couple is in their room," Aditya said
"Yes if both of them are human. But here your wife my boudibhai is a hologram. You have made your house like a lab. Her holograms are everywhere. No one can say that she isn't here with us. But you're living a lie Dadabhai, she is dead and you aren't ready to understand it. You aren't ready to let her go. Why are you punishing yourself and her? Give peace to her soul at least. Accept that she is dead for god sake. It's 3 years that she is dead, "bharat said as he got tears in his eyes
He doesn't want to say this every time to his brother that Mahi is dead.
" are you done? How many times I have told you to not say that she is dead. She is not dead, she is hiding somewhere. I'm trying to find her and I will one day for sure." Aditya said determined
He isn't ready to believe that Mahi is dead but he knew the truth very well.
"Its 3 years Dadabhai, 3 years that she is gone. The police also have closed the case. Please accept it. Anyways tomorrow Kakima has arranged a puja. As tomorrow is her Death anniversary and her birthday as well. She asked you to come," Bharat said
"I won't attend any dam puja that is held thinking that my Sweta is dead. And moreover, baba doesn't want to see my face again. I won't go there at any time. Now if you're done then leave." Aditya said
Bharat sighed hearing it. He comes here once a week to check on Aditya.
" if you have shown one percent of your this love to her when she was here, believe me, you would not have to be with her holograms but she would be here with you and you would have become a father as well but now it's too late," Bharat said and left from there
Aditya knows whatever Bharat said is true. It's his fault that she isn't here. She isn't with him. She is too far from him. She suffered because of him.
" I'm sorry Sweta, please forgive me, come back to me please I can't stay away from you anymore. I will die in this pain please come back to me, I love you so much please come back to me" Aditya said and started to cry as he does from the past 3 years every night.
He remembered the time when he lost her and fell asleep.
