They left their temporary encampment as soon as the sun began to rise over the mountain’s peak, spending that night encamped where they had the previous one. By noon of the following day they arrived at Glenarif Inn where they stopped for lunch. At that point, Volke bade them goodbye. “It was a pleasure getting to know you, and to be able to help destroy the coven of Vampyres,” he said. “However, now it’s time for me to get on with my life.” “Will we ever see you again?” Lochlan asked, hoping he would. He’d come to like Volke in spite of what he was. “One never knows.
