I am so exhausted. This has been the most tiresome week of my life. I certainly didn't want to talk to Andrei right now and Michelle was the last person I wanted to see today. I needed to tell him I wasn't going to the party today, but a text message would have sufficed for that. While I contemplated my next move, I stared at his reflection in the side view mirror and he stared back at mine; we neither moved nor spoke for the next minute. Then, as if to say I had enough time to think, he wound up the window and started his car. I really thought about ignoring him and going upstairs but I don't think he's going to let me leave so easily.
