POV Cadmus  “Can you hear them Malaki?” I ask. His hearing has always been better than mine.  “Yes,” He says, before letting me in on what they are saying.  “You don’t really feel pity for that man do you, Viv?” Rosemary scoffs.  “It’s not pity, I just think he’s gotten the short end of the stick. Let’s let him win. Please?” The other voice, presumably Viv, whines.  “No. We already made the deal, Cadmus needs to win. That’s the only way we can get what we want.” Rosemary replies.
