Sometimes this world feels soulless. Everyone is running behind every other thing. Now, here I'm one of the most powerful mafia men. 

"yo....man" Alec barged in. I responded with a small nod and smile. Alec is my right hand but more of a brother. When I entered this underworld he was with me. He stood like a pillar. And yeah my left hand is scarlet. She's the best assassin I have. Alec handles the work, where scarlet handles my men.

"bro you need to join me this time," Alec said. 

"To where?" I asked. 

"To the auction," he said with a loud voice." don't say that you forgot". He earned a death glare.

"you know right? I don't like to visit such places" I said while looking into some documents. 

"yes, but only this time... This one time. Can you attend it please" he gave a puppy eyes.

Damn him... He's a man and still goes around giving puppy eyes. I can't deny him and he knows it better. I don't know why but all of a sudden I'm feeling like hurting, a pang in my heart, my mood got down. As if my loved one is hurting and I'm feeling the pain. What the s**t I'm thinking? Love? The thing which isn't available. I laughed to myself.

The world in which I live always cares about power, money, and women. Sometimes I hate to be in this world and hell yeah I choose it. I need power... The only thing which I crave for, the only thing which matters to me. 

Sometimes I miss the old me, the carefree me whom I lost somewhere ages ago. I like it when people are scared of me. The respect which they show out of scare. Hell yeah, I need it. It makes me feel like I'm the devil.

It's already night. I got ready for the so-called auction. We reached the place. The room was chaos and when I entered, all went silent. I entered the room with a smirk on my face. The auction got started and I'm the least interested one. It's coming to end I guess. 

And then they started announcing "big deal of the day.... " when I lift my head it was her. Everything around me went blank... more like in Slow motion. 

What is she doing here? Something in me saying that I need her. We are in a place where they sell girls to Powerful men. Some of them are hereby their will and some get kidnapped. Most of them are here because they are kidnapped.

I have seen this girl before. It's when my car stopped at a signal. The road was jam and she was crossing the road with two other girls, Laughing loud. God her laugh is so soothing I thought. But I'm shocked to see her now... In an underworld den. 

Unconscious in the middle of sluts, the innocence in her face is all gone. Her face is filled with bruises and handprints. She got beaten badly. Adrenaline pumped in my veins. God knows why I'm getting angry. I feel like killing everyone present here and set her free from those dirty hands which are holding her now.

Maybe that girl has no idea about how her life is going to change. When they brought her into the limelight all the f*****g old-age bastard's started drooling over her. That made me angrier. They started the auction... Many more people are interested in her until I stepped in and everyone stopped. 

Obviously, they will Who am I kidding. point number one, I'm the powerful man over here, and two... No one can afford that price. Maybe she's the first one who got sold off for such a high bid.

They started dragging her back as if she's something And the first thing I said is 

" just remove your filthy hands off of her... She's mine... Dare to touch and you will meet the lucifer". 

They left her there and went away. When I turned to Alec...confusion Is written on his face. I made a stiff face and he immediately understood. He took her to the car and soon we entered the mansion.

Alec's POV :

We reached the mansion. The whole ride was silent. I wanted to shoot him with many questions which are killing me right now. 

"who's this unknown girl in the back seat? You always hated such gatherings and this time you even bought a girl? Is she your ex? Or is she your present?" ugh... My questions are getting dumber. How can he have a girlfriend?

But why did he cared about her? I know she looks gorgeous but is he getting interested in women's things? Ahh... My brain is getting heated up. We went inside the mansion. I placed her in one of the guest rooms and called the doctor. David went back to his room for a shower and kept scarlet as in charge.

Coming to scarlet she's on fire I guess. She made a poker face and eyeing that sleeping girl.

"don't get scared scar" I teased her.

"scare who? Me? That too with this girl, I think she can't even hold a gun".

"I think it's time to replace you" I smirked. 

"you son of a b***h" she showed her middle finger to me. 

"Woah... The jealous are overflowing" I smiled sarcastically. Don't worry she's just a random girl, who he bought at auction. Scar's face got pale as if blood drained from her body.

"what did you just say? Did he bought her in the auction?" she went near sleeping beauty... " she's not even merely close to me and he bought her? Ugh.... What's wrong with him?" she said being annoyed. 

"don't compare yourself to her," I said. 

"yeah... Why would I? She's just a slut" she said sarcastically. 

"shut up," I said. Sometimes Scars get off-limits especially when it is about David.

"f**k off," she said.

"I'm glad" I smirked. 

"ugh... Whatever... I'm leaving. I have work to do unlike you" she Said being annoyed.

I laughed.
