“This is cute.” Arliss walked into Sean’s living room and looked around at the one bedroom with its hardwood floors, decorative fireplace, and natural wood molding. “I wish I could get a place of my own.” Arliss sighed and set down the bag from the liquor store on the coffee table. It contained a bottle of Stoli and a six-pack of Stella Artois. He looked out at the leaves on the trees in front of the building and noticed Sean had a door that led onto a little balcony. He heard the rumble of the “L” train they had just gotten off nearby. “Really nice.” Arliss wasn’t used to this.
