Oma had finally arrived in the city of his dreams. Long ago was his miserable childhood in a mountain village, his enlistment with the Maoist revolutionary troops that had annexed Tibet and his recent involvement in the Sino-Indian war that Mao had proclaimed as a great victory for China.
