Caliana's POV
Tears poured from my eyes but I was resolute, this story of Candace pretending to me is crazy! He just can't expect me to believe that. I got out of his grab, almost making me fall but he grabbed me tightly. His arms were warming me.
"Well, it's my baby, not yours,"
His eyes flash a dangerous color but I didn't flinch, I know all too well that he won't hurt me physically, especially in my condition. I look him dead in the eyes
"No, I'm not taking you back, and quit this unconventional narrative," I said emotionless. He was displeased by that but I couldn't care. What he did shocked me, he f*****g kissed me, it wasn't deep or savage but he kind and sweet.
"I'm telling the truth about what that woman did. How can I prove this to you?"
