Edward's POV
It has been three days since we've been here and I was getting bored with all the long meetings, and bickering between the Alphas every day. I interacted with my cousin, King Leondre before joining the others at the party. I listened to him as he talked about his mate. All he did was praise her.
"I'm happy you finally found your mate, finally the people have a queen," I told him and he nodded, gulping his drink.
"Me too. She's gorgeous and incredible, and her fighting skills are, damn, amazing! How I was able to live without her for almost twenty-four years still baffles me,"
Yep, my cousin was a goner, he looked and talked like a man in love. I touched his shoulders seriously and said " Because she was only born about five or six years after you were?" I chuckle
