I was stunned by his words and before I could fully comprehend anything, he had my hands in his.
"Well, we are mates so the emotions you feel are forced by the bond and the only way to not feel that way is if you rejected me," I explained patiently.
"It's not only the bond, but it's also me, Edward, and I don't want to reject you," His voice was calm and soft. I swallowed and heat spread to my body when he kissed my hands. He smiled gently at me and guided me back to the bedroom where we made love the whole night until I passed out.
