I flinched. I just felt free for a few hours and now, this pressing feeling is here again, trying to squeeze my world. How will I respond to him, knowing that he is here? I thought I'd already escaped from his grasp earlier. What will I do? “Are you angry with me?” William asked again. I swallowed hard before turning around to face him. With all the best I could, I tried to appear fine and unperturbed.
