I was jolted awake when I felt the link to Jordan being severed. When I looked over at Kate and her horrified expression told me that she had felt the same thing I did.
At this moment, the pack was without an Alpha. I felt a sinking feeling in my stomach as we both got out of bed and ran to Jordan’s room.
I wasn’t surprised when it turned out to be empty.
“Sean, Avery is gone too.” Kate whispered.
I mindlinked my Beta.
“Have you seen Jordan?” I asked.
“No.” Patrick replied. “Christian is gone too. I felt his pack link severing the same time as Jordan’s did. Barry’s too.”
