THE grip on Winona’s hand tightened when she and Uno thread the path out of the platform.
The couple just arrived from the metro. They used the pack’s Cessna to reach the pack territory.
Uno remained quiet at her side. They passed through a few members of the pack. Most were discreet when they bow.
They entered the pack house. Most of the members of the Krieger pack focused their eyes on Uno especially those who saw her for the first time.
“Alpha.” Henry bowed.
They saw each other as they stepped on the stairs. She nods at him.
“How’s your injury?” Uno asked when she recognized the man.
