“Did the mail come?" Amelia checked for the mail every day even though Benedict brought her anything addressed to her. Cook shook her head as she stared at a shelf in the kitchen. Today Amelia was restless because she'd started to check out Isabel's lead and it looked promising. Benedict was doing whatever butlers did when their employer wasn't around. She couldn't find him and he hadn't walked down for the mail yet. So she left out the front door and traveled the long driveway to the mailbox.
