10 Timothy was ready to get home, and so was Isaac. The baby was hungry and Timothy was out of formula. They reached the guesthouse just in time, and after Timothy heated some water in the kitchen—which he now used, rather than always having to ask for hot water—he walked up the stairs slowly, feeling relieved at the thought of being in his quiet room for a few hours. In the morning they would re-enter the thrum and howl of all the people out there, but for now—quiet. It was a relief to get Isaac out of the baby carrier and unwind himself from the long, stretchy piece of fabric.
