I looked at my brother. “I am. Besides, I thought I couldn’t finish the job before the due time. I’m glad I did,” I said.
“Because you could meet Rachel soon,” he added. I smiled even wider.
“It’s Sunday. I could take her out.” Although when I reached there, it would be night already. Did Rachel have dinner already?
“Why don’t you pick her up in the morning and surprise her?”
“That’s a great idea.” I guessed I should do that. Rachel was all I could think of. The only motivation I needed while doing my job. Because I was determined to see her ASAP.
