CHAPTER 10

703 Words
Lilianna silently watched as people walked in and out. Aria has prospered so much since the last two years She sat at a booth on her as she watched customers laughed as enjoy their coffee and new books. Nicoli took over the place, watching over it for her while she was gone and to be honest the place was better than when was here. The swelling hurt tightened in her throat to see that the one thing that she worked her life for was doing amazing. It was as if her mother was doing fine without her and didn't need her. She was grateful, but at the same time she wished it wasn't doing so good, so that it needed her. It was a selfish thought, but she couldn't think it. Annie was up and down, smiling and helping customers and so did the other workers. They were all ecstatic and overjoyed when she came back, and she was too for the moment. The door chimed up and in ram in Nicky and Mickey. They screamed and ran over to her. "Oh hey, boys!" She said and pulled them into a tight hug. Yes, a distraction from her dark thoughts. "Aunt Lili! You're back at work!" They said almost in unison. Lilianna smiled at them and pulled them into the booth. "It's good to see you boys, but where's Sophie?" She asked, The boys' faces fell at that and looked away. "What's wrong? Seriana said she was sending you and Sophie." She said worried, "Yes. When we got here, Sophie told us to go an then left with some strange boy. They walked off together." Mickey said, Nicky nodded his head in agreement. Lilianna sighed and ran her hand through her hair. "Come on. Let's go look for her." Lilianna said and they got up. ~~~~ Oliver groaned in boredom as he sat in the living room. It's been two weeks since Lilianna left, and he's been miserable. The hotel suite was quiet, and he had nothing to do for the moment. If Lilianna was here, she would either be bothering the hell out of me with her smart comments or we'd be f*****g. He sighed at the thought but shook it away. His thoughts were consumed by his wife which he was sure was going to become his ex-wife soon. Especially when she was with Nicoli. Anger briefly consumed him at the thought of Nicoli having her. Without thinking, he got up and grabbed his keys. He left the suite and rushed out. He took the elevator down to the underground parking lot and walked to his black porshe. Zooming out and into the traffic he thought of where she would probably be. He tapped some stuff onto the GPS, and it showed her location. Aria. Her café. The drive was long considering the midday traffic. Oliver growled, beeping his horn at the person in front. Before he could combust with anger, he finally reached the café. He parked on the side and discreetly entered the café in fear that she would spot him. He sat at an end by himself. A worker walked over to him and he quickly ordered a black coffee. He searched the café for Lilianna, and he spotted her at the counter laughing and talking. She had a grin on her face, and she looked beautiful. Her hair was out in curls, she wore a light-colored dress that hugged her nicely, and she had on light makeup. She seemed to be happier without him which made his mood even worse. The coffee was set in front of him which surprised him. He was going to drink when Nicoli suddenly appeared and walked over to Lilianna. Oliver watched in anger as he pulled her into his arms and kissed passionately on the lips. Red, hot anger surged through him and he clenched his fist together. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him closer to her. Oliver angrily got up and stormed out the café before he did something stupid. She did want him, she didn't care for him like he did for her. She had Nicoli and that wasn’t going to change.
